A resident wants to know the trash and recycling rules.

Trash Chutes

• All garbage must be securely bagged.
• No loose moving boxes, construction debris, or large items in trash chutes.
• Cardboard boxes must be flattened and placed in designated recycling areas.

Recycling

• Use the blue bins for paper, plastic, and metal recyclables.
• No plastic bags in the recycling bins.
• Electronics and hazardous waste (batteries, chemicals) must be disposed of at city facilities.

Rules

• Rule #11: Failure to properly dispose of trash is a violation subject to fines.
• Dumping of furniture or large appliances in common areas is strictly prohibited.
