A resident wants to prepare for an incoming storm.

When a Watch is Issued

1. Remove all furniture, plants, and loose items from balconies and patios.
2. Stock up on water, non-perishable food, and batteries.
3. Fill your car’s gas tank.
4. Ensure your storm shutters are in good working order.

When a Warning is Issued

1. Close and secure all storm shutters.
2. If you have a digital parking decal, ensure your vehicle is in its assigned spot.
3. Stay tuned to local news and NBV Police alerts.
4. If an evacuation order is issued, leave the building immediately.

Post-Storm

1. Do not attempt to return to the building until it is cleared by authorities.
2. Management will inspect common areas and document any damage.
3. Report any damage to your unit to Management as soon as possible.
