Violations & Fines

A resident has received a violation notice.
The Process
- Written Notice: A resident is notified of a rule violation.
- 14-Day Notice: A resident is given 14 days to correct the violation or request a hearing.
- Fining Committee: If the violation is not corrected, a hearing is scheduled before the Fining Committee.
- Fine Levied: If the committee approves, a fine of $100 per day (up to $1,000) may be levied (Rule #44).
- Appeal: A resident may appeal the committee’s decision.
Common Violations
- Noise during quiet hours (Rule #22).
- Improper trash disposal (Rule #11).
- Unregistered pets or vehicles.
- Unauthorized unit modifications.
