Approved Window Types

An owner wants to replace windows or doors.

CRITICAL NOTICE

The building is currently undergoing a $7.7M structural restoration that includes impact window replacement. Before replacing any windows independently, you MUST coordinate with Management.

Requirements

• All new windows must meet Miami-Dade County impact-rated specifications.
• Windows must comply with the 50-year recertification structural requirements.
• The Engineer of Record (EOR) must approve any window specifications that differ from the building-wide project.
• No window air-conditioning units are permitted (Rule #40).
• No antennas or aerials on exterior walls (Rule #24).
