A resident wants to know the fire safety procedures.

Fire Protection System

• Smoke detectors are located in all hallways and common areas.
• Fire extinguishers are available on every floor.
• The building is equipped with a fire alarm system and sprinklers in common areas.
• Rule #38: No smoking in common areas, hallways, or elevators.

In Case of Fire

1. Pull the Alarm: Locate the nearest fire alarm pull station.
2. Call 911: Provide the building address and your unit number.
3. Evacuate: Use the nearest stairwell. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATORS.
4. Close Doors: Close doors behind you to help contain the fire.
5. Assembly: Gather at the designated assembly area away from the building.
