Storm Shutter Policy

A resident wants to install or use storm shutters.

Rules (Rule #25)

  • Board Approval Required: Any installation of storm shutters must be approved via the ARC Application process.
  • Specifications Provided: The Association provides approved specifications for storm shutters to ensure uniformity and structural integrity.
  • Maintenance: Owners are responsible for the maintenance and repair of their storm shutters.
  • Closure: Shutters may only be closed during a hurricane or tropical storm Watch or Warning. They must be opened within [X] days after the storm passes.

Prohibited

  • No unauthorized tape, plywood, or other window coverings without Board approval.
